Whether you're already in L&D and want to grow stronger — or you're standing at the door and don't know where to start — this is the space where clarity, direction, and real progress happen.
I didn't set out to become an L&D professional. I started on the floor — as a customer service representative in Egypt, taking calls, navigating difficult conversations, and figuring out how to be good at something that nobody had properly taught me. That gap bothered me.
It bothered me enough that I leaned in. I became a trainer. Then a quality specialist. Then I started wondering why most training I saw wasn't actually changing behaviour — it was just filling calendars. So I started building things differently.
"L&D done right isn't a department. It's the operating system of a high-performing organisation."
Over 13 years, I built L&D functions from scratch at Apple, scaled them across 12 countries at Samsung MENA, and designed enterprise-wide capability frameworks at FreedX. I've delivered over 2,000 hours of facilitation, built talent pipelines, designed onboarding experiences, and connected learning to the business metrics that leadership actually cares about.
I earned my CIPD Level 7 — the highest qualification in strategic L&D — because I believe in the rigour of the profession. I'm also a Certified COPC CX Implementation Leader, which gives me a precision lens on performance and quality that most L&D practitioners simply don't carry.
People: Explained was born from one belief: that the Arabic-speaking L&D community deserves the same depth of knowledge, mentorship, and career infrastructure that exists in the West. I'm building that. And part of that is this — working directly with you.
Structured, practical, and built around where you actually are — not a generic roadmap that fits no one.
